Try Hockey for Free 2026
The Southeastern CT Seahawks are excited to invite all young, aspiring hockey players to the Norwich Ice Rink on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 10:15-11:15 am, for a Try Hockey for Free session!
This event is the perfect chance for kids to step on the ice, learn the basics of hockey, skate alongside some of our Seahawks players, and—most importantly—have a TON of fun! Whether your child is brand new to hockey or just curious about the sport, this is a relaxed, high-energy introduction designed just for them.
No gear? No problem! We’ll have equipment available to borrow so your child can jump right in.
Please make sure to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the start time as it will take some time to get skaters fitted in their gear.
Feel free to stay after this program to watch some of our teams play!
If you have any questions, please reach out to our registrar, Shealyn Redfield, at registrar@secyh.org
We can’t wait to welcome new faces and see your future hockey stars on the ice!
