Grow the Game
Welcome to our Grow the Game. The grow the game program is intended for first time hockey players who wants to try hockey for free. Contact our house director at housedirector@secyh.org or our president at president@secyh.org with questions.
Ages
Grow the game is appropriate for anyone wanting to play hockey from age 4 to 14.
When
Grow the game occurs during the offseason typically in spring and/or summer and is 1 Saturday a week for 3-4 weeks.
We also have free to try for 4 weeks in the Jan - Feb timeframe.

Rose Garden Ice Arena in Norwich CT
Equipment Required
Full hockey equipment is required to step on the ice. Equipment can be loaned on a first come first serve basis
Costs
There are none! This is purely a free event to allow anyone to try out hockey!
2024 Grow the Game Event
This registration is for our free grow the game event.
This event is intended for those who want to try Hockey before committing to a full season.
There will be 4 four sessions. It is highly recommended that your child knows how to skate.
The sessions are at the Rose Garden Ice Arena in Norwich CT from. 9:15am to 10:15am on the following days:
7/20, 7/27, 8/3, and 8/10
Gear will be provided by the Seahawks (excluding skates which can be rented from the ice rink) on a first come first serve basis. Please arrive 2 hours early on the first day for gear fittings.
